how do you train your dragon?

well not that a dragon is Wat i train on weekends and this is not a instruct-able guide to train your imaginative [obviously] dragon...

am talking about the DREAM WORKS Tm movie released worldwide this week- How to Train Your Dragon.

i just loved the movie... well tho it was the usual formula... an ordinary HERO who believes in something... but everyone don't look at things in his perspective.... so how does he convince them???  is the story....

Premise:
A hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed.

the hero- HICCUP  very lovable... you could connect with him from the outset... his physique being little or LITTLER for a viking is his major drawback... His initial desire to become a dragon killer and how when presented with a chance to do that he realizes he cant even kill a fly, let alone a dragon... due to this selfless act, the dragon "Night Fury" opens up to him.. tho with comical consequences....

His relationship with his dad who happens to be the chief of the village is really well depicted.... icing being dad presenting his son a helmet made out of single side of his moms chest cover... :p ... His dad putting up with constant complaints from villagers about his son... hiccup frustrated tat his dad does not listen to him at all... everything makes the story heartening...

his romantic angle being Astrid the ambitious dragon warrior whos aim is to be the ultimate dragon fighter... she initially hates him and his antics but when she corners him and discovers his little Secret, he shows her his side of the world- flying on a dragon.... she starts liking and supporting him..

the vikings are all very well characterized... we have a village elder, a war veteran blacksmith/trainer,few dorky wannabe dragon slayers, cold blooded warriors.. and all the mix...

but this movie is all about Night Fury... a really cool black, blue fire spitting extremely fast and ever effluent dragon.... the characterization is pretty awesome here... i just loved how it plays with hiccup... and how they bond together....

the ultimate message i could take out of this is that the notions and blind beliefs man has about certain things.... we think something is fact wen we may be completely wrong... so look at everything in different angles...

well last but not the least,... awesome animation from Dream works...........

Rebranding...... a fresh start

well i just happened to come to this blog of mine today and found out that i have made an average single post every yr since 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh!! tats one bad stat for a self proclaimed blogger! (seriously am i even a blogger,guess not! :( )


I couldn bear to think tat people look at this and think- " well here is another wanna be who could not match up to the fast world of the Internet!" I dont want it to be tat way so am gonna start blogging about anything n everthing, quite frequently here after.....

so look forward www,     I AM BACK!!!!

Back!

Been nearly a year now, i guess, since a post!

back to punching keyboard and posting non sense.....

destination GODS OWN COUNTRY!

exms over atlast.... didi not know if the paper was easy or was it ma enthu to leave for ma native... i finsd ma exam half an hour earlier on 30th of apr (12 o clock to be exact)
npow had to reach home soon cos ma scheduled bus for kerala was 3:30 tat day! tat gives me 3 hrs wit chennnai traffic not on ma side! haaair raisin tot!!!
well made it home in 45 mins! takes me an hour usually... the difference? an auto!!!
got ready packed up... caught an auto and we left!
life is alwys funny.... suddenly the auto fdriver says he needs to fill his auto wit fuel... not petrol or diesel but LPG! and lpg bunks are like ice cubes on desert in chennai!!! we reached one and we were on que wit some 8 autos lined up in front of us! hooooooo....
i then went up to the auto driver wit anger of beatin him(cos had jus an hour left for bus and it will take tat much wit chennais roads!)
asked him if its poosible to go! he said fuel needed... tats wen another driver came to rescue! he said LPG bunk is available near koyambedu(the place we need to board our bus) and lucky the auto had fuel to last till koyambedu! ahhhhhhh
heart beat normal now!
we reached the place in half an hour! need to thank the driver atleast for that! now time to wait! bus came @ 3:45!! wud ya know????
left station @ 4.... and took 2hrs to leave chennai boundary!!! too late and slow!
well 14 hrs of back painin travel in a not so deluxe- ultra deluxe bus- resulted in us reaching thrisssur ma home town in kerala..... well it was wait the travel!! am in gods own country!!!!!!

phew! 2nd atlast....

well din think the second one wud take so long...
been busy wit exams lately!
so hopefully continuing....

TIME TO START??

Only if i could see the future and do things accordingly!!

i always have this hesitation in doing things anew ie., starting something. Well wise people may say caution is good. But others say its fear or starting trouble.
A notion or idea popular with most of u... and thus one question keeps popping up in our minds everytime-

WHEN DO I START?

The problem prevalent is that u wont know "when" untill its too late.
And generally this hesitation is termed a genre name- LAZINESS!
But i don go with that point.
the thing is- u may have ideas of starting something,but have no "push" to do it right away and thus put it into the back burner.

And the fact that i have "been there done that" does not make me a right person to advise.

But still lets assess the point....

1- You want to do something.

2-either planned or did not.

3-if planned, not properly executed.

4-not executed well? then idea into back burner.

5-planned and executed? congratulations.

6-no plan means no execution so thus directly into the dust bin.

So thus its seen that when u want to start something or do any thing better,
Then-

PLAN & EXECUTE!

I wanted to do this a long time so i decided to act first and then preach....
And the result?
My first post on my blog!!!
